My name is Jacob Levy, and I am a Computer Science major with minors in Cognitive Science and Applied Economics from the Chicagoland area. I am interested in new technologies, and how they will shape our future lifestyle and economy. I am particularly intrigued by big data, an interest that stems from my love of sports and the increase in data analytics used in professional leagues. I applied to the Milstein Program to marry technical training with important, humanitarian applications: technology is changing more rapidly than ever, but we must always keep humanity as the focus of its design. I am eager to work on projects that will make both exciting technologies and pressing issues more tangible to myself and peers in the program.
