Chit-Chats with Cat

Research Question:

How do personal storytelling and peer-shared experiences influence college students' ability to navigate academic and social challenges?

Project Summary:

I will be working in the Milstein Studio and using its equipment to record three podcast episodes for my project. The first episode focuses on navigating faith in college and finding something that keeps you grounded and accountable. I invited a close friend who shared the journey of rediscovering faith with me during our time at Cornell. The second episode is about stepping out of your comfort zone, and I recorded it with the president of my stand-up comedy club. Finally, the third episode will involve an interview with my Information Science professor, who specializes on data privacy and previously worked for BBC with an overarching lesson of following your passions and finding your niche.

Student: Catherine Martin (Information Science, '25)
