The Summer Program at Cornell Tech is designed to be an immersive and collaborative learning experience for first-year Milstein students. In this 8-week residential program, students develop a situated appreciation for technological innovation, as well as the human context in which it unfolds, through a series of dynamic classes, guest seminars, group projects, innovation challenges, professional development workshops, and real-world community engagements in New York City.
Running from Monday through Thursday, students cultivate a broad set of interests and skills through a set of core classes with group projects and events. Previous courses, guest lectures, and workshops have focused on Participatory Design and Fabrication, Emergent Digital Technologies, Innovation for Public Service, Digital Ethics in Society.
