Anticipated Major: Computer Science
Anticipated Minor: Economics, Information Science
While my intended major is computer science, I am interested in a range of subjects hosted in A&S including cognitive science, economics, government, and information science. In high school, I discovered an interest in computing and technology through my computer science coursework. However, I also committed myself to pursuing the humanities, most notably through four years of Public Forum debate. While these interests existed largely independent of one another in high school, I look forward to finding ways to mesh these two worlds as I move forward. I am excited to take advantage of the opportunity that Milstein will provide in understanding how computing can solve problems in many unique fields. I also hope to examine the role that technology can play in combatting racial and economic disparities within our society, many of which have become apparent to me through research and volunteer work. Finally, I look forward to working with bright individuals in my cohort who share similar goals as my own. In my free time, I enjoy both playing and watching basketball (Jalen Brunson is the goat), going to the gym, video games, and hanging out with friends. Feel free to reach out: cjs444@cornell.edu
