Activities and Societies: Hi! My name is Giselle Gutierrez or Gigi. I am a first-generation college student and I will be studying astrophysics and computer science at Cornell. I have always been fascinated with the cosmos, but also with environmentalism and addressing global issues. I hope to use the skills I learn through my career in STEM to find solutions to prominent such as climate change and factory farming, alongside exploring our universe. I have been vegan for 8 years, and I love cooking and baking for my friends and family. I am so excited to continue my studies at Cornell alongside the Milstein Program, and I look forward to accomplishing great things through our collaborative efforts.
