Growing up surrounded by linguistic challenges, from learning a new language as I moved to the US and dealing with my stutter, I am interested in using frontier AI and computational research to improve language and communication for humanity. Much of my work involves applying modern deep learning and signal processing in correcting impaired speech.

More recently, I have become interested in applying foundational deep learning to other fields of science. By studying linguistics, I hope to gain a greater understanding of how humans reason and cogitate, allowing computers to do the same. At Milstein, I hope to continue this research and apply computation to solving overlooked yet meaningful problems for humans.

Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking, urban exploration, biking, and learning new languages. You can also find me toying around with Linux systems, watching anime, and playing Counter-Strike.
