Anticpated Major: Cognitive Science
Anticpated Minor: Artificial Intelligence
Having long been drawn to the intersection of literature, psychology, neuroscience, music, and computer science, I am eager to explore the convergence of these disciplines through the Milstein Program. I am particularly excited to study emerging technologies such as AI and examine how they can be applied to medicine and mental health to create meaningful, human-centered impact.
In the past, I conducted computational psychiatry research in a laboratory focused on modeling cognition using fMRI data to better understand the human mind and brain across the lifespan, as well as the development of psychiatric conditions. I am also a passionate mental health advocate, having served as a community health liaison and promoted mental health awareness through running my school's psychology club.
At the same time, some of my greatest joys come from writing and editing literary magazines and engaging deeply with literature in English classes. I hope to continue integrating these diverse interests and allowing them to flourish during my time at Cornell and in the Milstein Program.
Outside of academics, I am an avid swimmer and runner, with aspirations of running marathons and completing triathlons in the future. Long hours spent training outdoors give me plenty of time to daydream, ponder, and chase the occasional rabbit hole of curiosity. I also enjoy baking, volunteering, reading, playing the cello, and watching foodie videos.
