The world of mathematics has always fascinated me, but on its own, it feels incomplete. To me, its full beauty reveals itself only when paired with other disciplines—specifically economics. I’m drawn to the ways mathematical and economic thinking can be combined to address real-world challenges, especially in global markets and development contexts. By harnessing these passions, along with my interest in languages such as Mandarin, I hope to bridge cultures and apply these interdisciplinary insights within an increasingly complex global framework. Through the Milstein Program, I hope to continue exploring the intersection of mathematics and economics and their applications both locally and across borders. I look forward to collaborating with a diverse group of peers and mentors who share an interdisciplinary mindset. Beyond academics, I row crew, play basketball and tennis, and love cooking and exploring the outdoors.
