Whether through teaching or coding, I find purpose in making things make sense. Understanding is a form of equity; the tech that powers our world was not designed with everyone in mind, and that's a gap I’m trying to close. I’m drawn to cognitive science because it offers insights into how people learn, how minds and machines relate, and the social politics behind exclusion. Through the Milstein Program, I hope to research how to proactively anticipate the risks that emerging technologies can pose through both a technological and a sociological lens.
Outside of academics, I'm an avid enjoyer of caffeine, crafts, hikes, and photography.
