Music has been a big part of my life, from classical piano and violin to Indian classical percussion. Over time, that passion has influenced how I approach creativity and problem-solving. Eventually, this mindset naturally led me toward computer science and programming, where I enjoy building projects that help people do things they didn’t think were possible. For example, one of my apps transforms drawings into music, allowing anyone to create and compose music regardless of prior experience. Bringing my app to local behavioral health clinics, schools, and hospitals showed me the power of combining technology with the humanities and its need in society.
Beyond that, I’ve created interdisciplinary projects in civic technology and education, and in my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, other racket sports, and spending time with friends and family. I’m looking forward to the next four years and to exploring more intersections alongside my peers in the Milstein cohort at Cornell.
