Senior Cohort Prize

Senior Cohort Prize

The Milstein Program Cohort Prize is awarded to two exceptional graduating seniors who are nominated by their peers in the program.

The $2,000 prizes are disbursed before graduation and after the Senior Dinner and are intended to celebrate two Milsteiners who have made a significant contribution to the Program via their connections with other students and their efforts to build a community amongst cohorts of all years.

This new Cohort Prize is meant to spotlight the importance of our shared community of technology-minded scholars and the significant affect that building these relationships can have within Milstein, Cornell, and after graduation.

In addition to the monetary prize, the recipients of the Senior Cohort Prize will act as informal alumni ambassadors for their graduating class, reporting class achievements in their career or academic fields and other important updates.

We hope to create a comprehensive and strong alumni network through a shared commitment to the use of technology for making human connections.

Eligibility

Milstein Program graduating seniors who are nominated will be eligible for the award. In addition, award recipients will need to have completed the following components of the program:

☑ First Year Course Project
☑ MStudio (with good attendance record)
☑ Junior Project

Nomination Process

Milstein students are asked to nominate one or two Milstein seniors who demonstrates an investment in community-building or cohort engagement—students who have inspired their fellow Milsteiners, students, or community members on campus and beyond.

Please submit up to two names for consideration. You cannot nominate yourself.

The link for nominations will be posted here later this Spring.
