At my core, I simply love problem-solving, and as a result, I tend to create all sorts of intersections between philosophy, computer science, math, and cognitive science. I enjoy figuring out why and how we think the way we do and exploring different ways to model and manipulate that data. I've recently been really into game theory and its applications in ethics and moral philosophy, particularly in analyzing self-interest and altruistic behavior. I'm very excited to learn more about its applications in economic and public choice models, as well. So, I hope to take part in the robust philosophy and computer science research departments at Cornell.
Outside of academics, I dedicate a lot of time to promoting educational equity as a member of the UNICEF National Youth Council and as the New York County Representative on the New York State Youth Council. During my free time, I love to read (pretty much any genre), write (I'm really into journalism), run, play lacrosse, and row! I hope to join the Daily Sun and the Rowing Club at Cornell!
