Students in the Milstein Program have the unique opportunity to spend the summer after their first year at Cornell Tech in New York City. First-years are required to attend an information session about the program, but the program itself is optional. In order to attend this fully-funded program, first-years must fill out an interest form.
The Milstein Summer at Cornell Tech is an eight-week, fully residential program designed to encourage students to reflect collectively upon the political, social and economic implications of technology, to respond critically and creatively through emergent forms of interactive media, and to prototype new artifacts using the latest digital fabrication technologies. The program includes classes (required), workshops, and other structured activities, some of which are required and some optional.
Students who complete all requirements of the Summer Program will receive 2 Credits.
