Growing up building computers with my dad sparked a lifelong interest in technology. However, it wasn’t until I started researching bias in social media algorithms that I realized how deeply inequity is embedded in our digital spaces. That curiosity evolved into a passion for ethical AI and a desire to create systems that are both innovative and inclusive. Through an internship with Blacks at Microsoft, I collaborated with a team to develop an AI prototype designed to reduce diagnostic delays in healthcare. Recently, I also explored how technology can support equity in early education through my capstone research. My ultimate goal is to access the areas where technology and humans intersect and find how we can apply these powerful tools to current problems to create solutions and change.

Beyond the technical world, I led Sister 2 Sister, my school’s Black student affinity group, to create a more inclusive culture. I love participating in sports such as gymnastics, soccer, track, and diving, where I was captain of my high school's team. I’m excited by the Milstein Program’s focus on interdisciplinary learning and community impact, and I look forward to exploring how we can build a more just future through thoughtful collaboration at the intersection of tech, equity, and culture
