Automated Volunteer-Matching Application for Cornell's CLASP Program: A Study on User Experience

Research Question:

How can web development be implemented to streamline the process of matching CLASP program participants to classes based on interests and schedules?

Project Summary:

In my project, I plan to develop a website interface that can be used by the CLASP program at Cornell to reduce the time and effort required to match participants with classes. This project idea is based on recent meetings I had with Maja and with Sasha Endo and Beth Korson, the CLASP program leaders. The interface be a form on the CLASP website where participants input their schedules and interests and that uses these pieces of information to update a page that lists matches between participants' and instructors' schedules.
