I am someone who seeks to understand how the world works, therefore I am equally interested in STEM as I am in the humanities. Chemistry has always come very intuitively to me, thus I have pursued research, professionally and personally, in order to understand the ways in which it overlaps with other disciplines. Furthermore, I was diagnosed with a heart condition in eight grade, which led me to begin studying biochemistry so that I could understand my body’s deficiencies and how to cope with them. Comparatively, as the head of my high school’s Model United Nations team, my experiences debating, advocating, and leading have exposed me to various dynamics in international relations and encouraged my desire to pursue a career in law. My passions will always lead me to intersections of various fields, and I cannot wait to explore everything at Cornell.
