I have always been fascinated by history and how it has impacted global politics and cultural sensibilities today, leading me to immerse myself in local policy-making in my hometown. Today, my interest in culture and policy has led me to study the ethical implications of technology on personal, domestic, and international scales to try to approach questions of privacy, human rights, and sustainability in an increasingly online world. This intersection of humanities and technology is what brought me to the Milstein Program, where I have the privilege to pursue these questions in real-world situations. Outside of class, I love cooking, playing the saxophone, and watching any 80s sci-fi movie that crosses my path.
