Ithaca Voice Newsletter

Students served as consultants to help expand the Ithaca Voice’s reach to a wider audience, specifically undergraduate students and the general youth of the Ithaca community. They helped streamline and update newsletter format as well as identify ways they can update their services to be more innovative and engaging.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Primary Audience of Ithaca Voice is from the general Ithaca area, and is restricted to the same static subset. Need to find ways to expand the Ithaca Voice and help it realize its full potential as a local nonprofit newsletter that publishes a wide variety of sources from a passionate team. Want to build younger readership, engagement, and awareness, specifically of those under the age of 25.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES

We will suggest different ways for Ithaca Voice to expand their audience and redesign their newsletter. This will involve survey data and feedback from around 10 randomized Cornell undergraduate students, as well as exploring a variety of partnerships or additional marketing methods.
