I’m captivated by the art of sampling.  Hip hop producers integrate wildly different audio snippets, anything from an old R&B track to a presidential speech, into their own songs.  As a music producer myself, you can find me listening to my friend’s singing debut or splicing my favorite tv soundtrack trying to find different ways to chop, reverse, and speed up the audio samples in my next beat.

Much like music production, I love finding different ways to use technology to combine my interests within the entrepreneurship and user-experience spheres.  Through the Milstein Program, I’m excited to be a part of a community that embraces the unity of different passions to change the world.  I hope to learn from my experiences and peers as a Cornellian and Milstein scholar and use technology to foster human connection and social change.  Some of my more tangential interests include competing in fantasy football leagues, traveling for club swim meets, recreating dishes from Babette’s Feast and other foodie movies, and eating a good fried chicken sandwich.
