I’ve always loved puzzles and problem solving—somewhere along the way, this morphed into a love of computer science and math! Specifically, I’m interested in machine learning: not only in how these algorithms are implemented, but also in their increasing impact on society. The Milstein Program has been an incredible way to explore this human-facing side of technology. If I’m not coding or working on a problem set, I’m probably playing on the Cornell Women’s Club Basketball team or volunteering with the local Girls Who Code organization. Outside of school commitments, I like to play pickleball/volleyball/tennis/you-name-it and wrestle with the latest New York Times crossword puzzle.
