Intended Majors: Computer Science and Literatures in English
As a writer and a programmer, I've always been interested in the intersection of my two greatest passions. Computers have already revolutionized the way we communicate, and now they seem to hold a creative potential that might revolutionize the way we write and think about art. With the Milstein program, I hope to be able to explore this new frontier to the fullest, investigating how technological developments will shape the way we speak and write in the future. In particular, I'm interested in natural language processing, and how language models like GPT-3 are able to so effectively mimic the human voice.
Outside of the classroom, I love cooking, reading, quiz bowl, and weightlifting. I've also recently gotten into ping pong, and you can usually find me yelling "cho lei" as I promptly lose the game.
