Activities and Societies:
I never considered myself much of a political person–I grew up stuck in the STEM bubble. In my sophomore year of high school I joined an advocacy program initially looking to earn some community service hours. Little did I know, half a year later I would be speaking to city council about increasing funding for ESL programs in high schools. Since then, I've continued to wonder how to improve the communities I cherish.
I'm always interested in exploring how to bring people with different cultures and beliefs together. By pursuing a major in Computer Science and a minor in Sociology, I hope to create technologies that can connect people from various backgrounds and ideologies to create safer, more productive communities.
