I am looking forward to studying the convergence between computer science and cognitive science, specifically within the realm of neurodegenerative disorders. Blending the biological sciences with artificial intelligence can enable life-saving personalized treatment and identification of biomarkers for neurodegenerative patients. I hope to view my research through lenses from every corner of the scientific world, learning about techniques such as computer vision, genomics and bioinformatics, and comparative psychology to decipher the complexities of the human brain.
Although I plan to major in Computer Science, my education in history and linguistics has been monumental in shaping my worldview, and I am excited to continue exploring these fields at Cornell. I am incredibly grateful to the Milstein Program for the opportunity to explore the interdisciplinary blend between technology and the humanities, and how it can be applied to bettering our world.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music (indie rock, shoegaze, and hip-hop), read, and hang out with my dog.
