Hey! I'm from Laurel, Maryland, right between Baltimore and the capital. I grew up going camping and rock climbing, so I was instilled with a love for the outdoors. One of my dreams is to be able to do a big wall climb in Yosemite some day. Among other things, I also have great love for Thai fried rice.
My interest in technology probably stems from a nerdy love of sci-fi, be it Asimov or Star Trek. But in our evermore digital world, one of the most basic rights I believe everyone should have is the right to privacy, so I look forward to studying how to best ensure that everyone can keep themselves secure from whatever forms of malevolence present themselves.
