I am currently living in Seoul, but I was born in the US and attended high school in Austin, TX.
As both a coder and an aspiring author, I plan to study computer science and linguistics. I am especially interested in machine translation, an interdisciplinary field which connects my two passions. Some of my most vivid memories involve running creative writing projects through Google Translate at the request of my Korean relatives, so I am particularly excited about the future of literary translation.
When I’m not writing or coding, you can find me wandering around bookstores or doodling on my phone. I’m not a very good singer, but most of my playlists are crammed with Broadway tunes.
